Noviter NST
The Noviter NST is a three-pass, fire-tube steam boiler. The base type is a traditional, tried-and-tested model with such advantages as a simple structure, long operating life, reliability of service and easiness of service and maintenance. The large water volume allows big momentary changes in load. NST steam boilers are usually equipped with an economiser, which is dimensioned according to fuel and working parametres, to reach the best possible operating efficiency. The capacity range of the NST standard series is 0.85 – 6.4 kg/s (3.1-23 t/h). The design pressure is 1-1.6 MPa depending on operating pressure. In special cases, Noviter Oy designs and delivers NST boilers which can cope with higher pressures and capacities than the standard series. The boiler can be equipped with a superheater if required. Larger NST boilers can also be manufactured with two furnaces up to a capacity of 13.9 kg/s (50 t/h). |
