Noviter NFBST

The Noviter NFBST fluidised bed boiler is primarily designed for process steam and power plant boiler servicing industry. Output range covers boiler sizes from 5 – 50 MW.

All bio fuels such as bark, wood chips, sawing waste and even peat are suitable for combustion. Recycled fuel or sludge can be used as a mixing fuel. One of the strongest advantages of the fluidised bed boiler is the possibility to use fuels with variable combustion properties.

In the design of the boiler we have paid special attention to reliability and operational dependability. It is based on decades of operational experience in communal and industrial plants. We are continually striving to develop our technology. Maintenance and operational requirements are small due to our progressive technical solutions.

The operating values of Noviter boilers are top-class and meet the legislative requirements in every way. The pressure vessel is designed according to the latest PED standards.

The boiler is a naturally circulating system, equipped with a steam drum and supported at the lower end. The walls of furnace consist of a completely gas tight membrane. The fluidised bed is integrated with the lower part of the furnace. The walls of the furnace around the grid have a refractory to reach the required temperature.

The fluidised bed consists of a sand and/or ash layer, which is fluidised with either air or an air/flue gas mixture. The temperature of the fluidised bed is normally about 700 – 950 °C.

The boiler has ignition burners and, if necessary, can also be equipped with a load burner.

The economiser and combustion air pre-heater are usually located in their own flue gas pass.

The boilers are cleaned with steam sooters.
